WILLIAM T. MILLS, III
Bill has been married for 40 years and has two daughters. After graduating from the University of Louisville with a degree in finance he worked as a CFO in various healthcare systems.
In 1986 he co-founded Highland Associates. Highland is a prominent, investment consulting firm specializing in serving not-for-profit healthcare systems. In 2004 he co-founded Highland Good Streward Management, a fund manager for a series of responsible investment products. Highland is a member of ICCR, UNPRI, Eurosif, and the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia (RIAA). Bill is a member of the Consulting Board of the RIAA Academy, a board member of the Isaiah Fund, and a member of the Client Advisory Board of Hermes Equity Ownership Services.
JAY WULF, Chief Administrative Officer
Jay joined Highland Good Steward Management in February of 2007. Jay has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He also earned the Master of Arts Degree in Management from Birmingham Southern College in 2004. Jay has experience in treasury management, investment portfolio accounting, asset/liability management, and endowment fund management. He began his career in banking and then spent 10 years as a fixed income analyst specializing in asset/liability management at Morgan Keegan. At Birmingham Southern College, Jay served as the investment manager of the College’s endowment fund.
Jay’s work in the Fund Management Division at Highland is focused on investor relations, audit coordination, compliance oversight, and daily operations.
CAROL A. RINEY
Carol A. Riney joined Highland Associates in 1997 as one of the firm’s executive assistants. She currently serves as an executive assistant to the Funds Management Group at Highland. She is an active volunteer with the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure (Birmingham, Alabama). Mrs. Riney has studied at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
